I have this experience of having “bad mood” days where I feel unmotivated or uninterested in doing anything. This is a common experience not only me many of you must have also experienced. Since now a days for everything we look up to google and the internet, I too did the same. Here are some strategies I came accross and some of which have helped in managing these ‘bad mood’ days:
Recognize that it’s okay to have days when we don’t feel our best. Accepting our emotions without judgment can be the first step in managing them. We can try doing something kind for ourself. For example:

- Complete one easy task that we have been putting off.
- Reach out to friends or family members, even if it’s just a quick text or phone call. Social connections can improve our mood and provide support.
Exercise can significantly impact our mood. It doesn’t have to be strenuous; even a gentle walk or stretching can help release endorphins.
Nourishing your body with healthy foods can also influence our mood. Try to eat balanced meals and stay hydrated.
Sometimes, limiting exposure to negative news or social media can help improve our mood. Instead, seek out positive or inspiring content.
Doing something you enjoy, such as drawing, cooking, playing music, or gardening, can provide a sense of accomplishment and lift your spirits.
If we find that bad mood days are frequent or severely impacting our life, it might be helpful to talk to a mental health professional. They can offer strategies tailored to our specific needs.
Writing down things we are grateful for can shift our focus from what’s wrong to what’s positive in our life.
